About the Event

Dr. Carlos Ortiz serves as the Chief Data Officer at United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM/CDO, J02D), Camp H.M. Smith, where he leads strategic data and artificial intelligence initiatives across the command. In this role, he directs the development and deployment of mission-critical AI capabilities that enhance Joint U.S. and combined multi-national operations, focusing on transforming data into actionable military advantage across the Indo-Pacific region.


Mr. Gloriel N. "Ray" Pia serves as the Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer at Pacific Air Forces (PACAF/CDAO), Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. He develops and implements strategies for enterprise data management, analytics, digital transformation, and responsible/ethical artificial intelligence to optimize performance and drive innovation in and across all PACAF missions and operations.
