STEM Teacher Grants

AFCEA Hawaii proudly announces the second season for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Teacher Grants.  Our education mission includes directly supporting Hawaii based students, teachers, and professionals in their pursuit of continued STEM education.  Motivated teachers, directors, volunteers, etc., and their programs spark a lasting enthusiasm and set the foundation for students to engage in STEM subjects and pursue fulfilling careers in STEM related fields.  These grants recognize outstanding programs that immerse students in critical and creative thinking and demonstrate application through cyber, robotics, coding, website building, engineering, and so many other STEM programs, projects, and activities. Last year, $35,000 in grants were awarded to 24 STEM programs and projects.

STEM Scholarships Open for 2021 Season


AFCEA Hawaii’s Educational Programs is excited to announce the opening of the 2021 STEM Scholarship season.  Scholarships range from $2000 to $5000.  Last year, the program awarded $106,000 to 41 Hawaii-based students majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) fields to include Cyber and Intelligence.   Don’t miss this opportunity, apply online at ScholarsApp.  Questions about the scholarships may also be submitted on ScholarsApp or by sending an email to  Applications are open until July 29, 2021.
